*NOTE*

Alright, so I have to comment on some people's assumptions that I "butched up" Inu Yasha, whereas he's always been a faggy little twink in the cartoon. Now, nobody used those exact words to describe him like that, but my angry gay spidey sense is tingling, and I sense that effemiphobia might be festering underneath the surface, as it almost always is.

So with all due respect and love to fans of this piece, I did NOT mean to imply that I think the real Inu Yasha is a pussy, and so I made him a "real man". I simply tried to draw him in a more naturalistic style. I figure he's part canine so he would be a little hairy. That's all.

I don't think there is anything weak or girly about the real Inu Yasha, nor would there be anything undesirable about that even if it were true.

In fact, Inu Yasha acts really macho and bull-headed much of the time, and like all hyper-masculine straight men he needs a sensible woman to put him in his place.

"Sit boy!!" Thwump!

Hope nobody's put off by this, but effemiphobia is a particularly stubborn form of sexism/homophobia that has infected both the gay and straight communities and is deeply ingrained in Western culture, and like all social diseases, it doesn't do anyone any damn good at all.
